The Fake Debate Organized by the Fake Commission

From an AP report about some irrelevant decision by the Commission on Presidential Debates:

The commission is a nonprofit and nonpartisan corporation that has sponsored all the presidential debates since 1988.

Excuse me? Since when is a front organization for the Democratic and Republican parties, established to ensure nothing important is discussed let alone debated, nonpartisan? Bipartisan, yes, nonpartisan, no.

Clearly the so-called presidential debates are a total skam and are completely fraudulent in nature. Nothing is debated. No positions are clarified. Nothing is said that hasn't been said many times before by both so-called debaters. I don't see how even undecided voters could be persuaded by this charade. These debates are a sham like our entire political process. These debates, which are intended to give legitimacy to an illegitimate process, can only offend those of us who are not already totally brain-washed by the corporate media, and a corporate-controlled society. Bingo. You can't get legitimate leaders from an illegitimate political process. Garbage in, garbage out. The travesty continues unabated. I may be headed for the grave, but at least I can tell the difference between what is real and what is not.

Sincerely,
Old & In The Way

Well, these aren't really "debates" in the first place. More like a series of speeches with the occasional reference to what the other side said in a speech.
